Sleeper of the Week – The Boulder Queen Sleeper by Savvy – An Academic Accomplishment

The city of Boulder was founded in 1973 by a group of rock climbers and hacky sack pioneers, who hoped the higher elevation would yield a better crop of avocados*. When that didn’t pan out, they founded the University of Colorado.

Six years later, a team of top engineers and designers collaborated to create what we now call The Boulder Queen Sleeper Sofa by Savvy, but the project was abandoned when the university feared the sofa might be too comfortable and attractive to produce. We were able to procure the designs from one of the engineers during a poker game, and decided to bravely offer it to the public. We think you can handle the quality, comfort and superior design that come with it.
