Cold and Flu season means one thing… I’m sick. Thanks to my germaphobe mother, I have the immune system of a bubble boy (as well as a bit of Howard Hughes paranoia-OCD, but that’s for another Sleeper of the Week).

I love the USA. I only drive American cars, only listen to American music, and only watch American movies that are set in America. I didn’t even see Apollo 13 because too much of it happened in space. I can’t, however, resist buying Natuzzi sofas.

The city of Boulder was founded in 1973 by a group of rock climbers and hacky sack pioneers, who hoped the higher elevation would yield a better crop of avocados*. When that didn’t pan out, they founded the University of Colorado.
Six years later, a team of top engineers and designers collaborated to create what we now call The Boulder Queen Sleeper Sofa by Savvy, but the project was abandoned when the university feared the sofa might be too comfortable and attractive to produce. We were able (more…)
